Select Print on document with several TOCs Word for MacOS Update Table of Contents message requires many clicks on OK

I have a word template that has 6 TOCs in it.

I created a new document using this template.

If I make changes to any of the headings and select File > Print, Word displays the Update Table of Contents message box and I must click OK 6 times, once for each TOC in my document.

It is pre-populated with data in the headings and it works correctly.

I add a heading, and manually update the TOC where the heading appears. Even though I just updated the TOC and choose to print as the next step, the app still thinks I need to update the TOC even without changes.

This behavior is new to me, especially since I only made a change to one heading in the document.

You can turn off the option to update fields on print. You'll find the option in Word Preferences.
