I can enter Outlook, but resently I cannot find a specific folder named "bolig". I chatted with your support, and tried the suggestions, but with no help, and then I was cut off, and conversation seemed deleted by support.

Is it possible to communicate by phone?

Last time I had an issue 1½ year ago I was given a phonenumber [moderator's note: PII removed] for support, but that doesnt seem to work anymore.

    Hi bo bervig,

I understand how concerning it is to lose access to an important folder, especially after the previous support chat was interrupted.

As a first check, please sign in to Outlook on the web with the same account and look for the bolig folder there, including under Deleted Items. If the folder is in Deleted Items, you may be able to drag it back to its original location. You can also refer to Microsoft’s steps for recovering deleted Outlook items and folders.

If the folder appears on the web but not in Classic Outlook, the issue is likely limited to the desktop app or Outlook profile. In that case, you can try Microsoft’s Outlook profile repair steps.

Regarding phone support, an older telephone number may no longer be active, and the available contact options can vary by region and account type. Please use the official Microsoft Contact Support page or open the Get Help app in Windows. After describing the issue, select Contact Support if that option is offered.

Could you also confirm whether bolig is missing from Outlook on the web as well, and whether the affected account is an Outlook.com/Hotmail account or an account from another email provider? Thank you so much for your understanding.

For Outlook for home, phone support is not indicated in the provided support guidance. The supported paths shown are self-help, chat/email-style support, in-app support, or community support.

For the missing bolig folder, the supported checks are:

    1. In Outlook, make sure folders are not just collapsed.
      • Look for the > on the right edge of a folder row and expand it.
      • With some IMAP accounts, folders such as Sent can appear inside Inbox.
    2. If the folder was created or renamed in Outlook.com and then disappeared or reverted, items from that folder can still be found using Search.
    3. If using Outlook.com in the browser and signed in successfully:
      • Select Help from the top menu, then Help.
      • Enter the issue in Search Help.
      • If that does not resolve it, scroll to Still need help? and select Yes.
    4. If using new Outlook for Windows and eligible for support:
      • Go to Help > Support.
      • Select the account, accept the privacy statement, describe the problem, and submit it.
      • Responses can be tracked in the support pane.
    5. If support stopped replying, check whether the mailbox is full, because support replies cannot be delivered when the mailbox is full.

For general Microsoft customer support, the documented route is the Get Help flow, which provides self-help or connects to the most appropriate support option, which may include chat.
