Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello Scott Latta,
It is understandable to expect Copilot to be available across the Microsoft 365 apps when it already works in Word and PowerPoint. However, availability in OneNote currently differs by platform and subscription type.
For Microsoft 365 Personal subscribers, Copilot in OneNote is currently supported on Windows. On Mac, the OneNote Copilot experience requires an eligible work subscription, so the grayed-out button is likely an availability limitation rather than a failed license refresh.
The message on the iPhone should be checked separately. Copilot Notebooks has been renamed Copilot Workspaces and is available to Microsoft 365 Personal subscribers, but creating and using a workspace requires an active OneDrive service for the same Microsoft account.
Please try opening the Microsoft Copilot app on the iPhone and check whether Copilot Workspaces appears there. Also confirm that the Microsoft Copilot app, OneNote, and OneDrive are all signed in with the exact account that owns the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription.
If Copilot Workspaces remains unavailable in the Microsoft Copilot app, please contact Microsoft Support. Ask the support agent to verify the Copilot Workspaces entitlement, the OneDrive service plan, and whether the feature has reached the account through the current rollout.
This community is a user-to-user forum and cannot inspect or change account-level entitlements, but Microsoft Support can review the account-side status. Thank you so much for your understanding.
