Legal Name profile form rejects diacritics / Request for ASCII transliteration confirmation

Hello,

I am attempting to update my Legal Name on my Microsoft Certification profile to ensure it matches my official government-issued ID for an upcoming exam.

My legal name contains diacritics. However, the profile form validation fails when entering these characters, throwing an error stating that the name cannot start/end with a period or has an invalid length. There are no periods in my name; the validation script appears to misinterpret diacritic characters as invalid input.

Given that the form rejects standard diacritics, please confirm:

Is transliterating the name into its standard ASCII Roman character representation (e.g., using S instead of Ș, T instead of Ț, A instead of Ă) fully accepted by Pearson VUE proctors for identity verification on exam day?

  1. If exact diacritic matching is strictly required by Pearson VUE, please manually update my Legal Name on your backend to reflect the correct characters.
  2. I see this thing
"""The Q&A platform does not support questions related to Microsoft Credentials or Exams. Please visit Credentials Help for assistance.""". but that page doenst answer my quesion, i coud go in a loop indefinetly and not reach a conclusion.

Thank you.
