Accidently hit decline rather than accept someone who wanted to join the groupme. Don't recall the name, is there away to retrieve them?
A customizable group messaging space within the GroupMe app, designed for seamless communication among friends, classmates, teams, or communities.
I chatted with support. After verified my identify and answer the questions I was provided the first name of the person.

Thanks for the update, and I’m glad GroupMe Support was able to help.
For others who encounter the same issue after accidentally declining a join request, the best step is to contact GroupMe Support if you can no longer identify the requester:
How to contact GroupMe Support. (Only available during operation hours)
Keep in mind that this is a community forum. Community contributors cannot access your GroupMe account or retrieve account-specific information, so cases requiring access to declined requests or other private account details need to be handled by official support.
Hopefully your update will also help anyone searching for the same issue in the future.
