Oops! Something happened. Can you try again?

With your current plan, Copilot access may be limited during peak usage periods. Please try again later.

    Welcome AWer,

I understand how confusing this must be, especially since you have already upgraded and are paying for a subscription but Copilot is still showing a plan limitation message.

To narrow down whether this is an account/subscription recognition issue, please check the following:

    1. Confirm whether this is a personal or work/school account

Could you let me know whether you purchased the subscription using a personal Microsoft account (such as Outlook.com/Hotmail.com) or whether you are using a work or school account provided by an organization?

This is important because the available Copilot features and licensing are different for personal and organizational accounts.

    1. Check the exact subscription currently active on your account

Using the same Microsoft account that you use with Copilot, open: https://account.microsoft.com/services/

    Under “Services & subscriptions”, check:

    • The exact name of your Microsoft 365 subscription.
    • Whether the subscription is shown as active.
    • Whether you are the subscription owner if you are using Microsoft 365 Family or Premium.

Please tell me the subscription name shown there, but do not post your email address, order number, payment details, or other personal information.

    1. Make sure Copilot is using the same Microsoft account

Open Copilot and check the account shown under your profile. Make sure it is the same Microsoft account associated with the paid subscription.

If another account is currently signed in, sign out and then sign back in with the Microsoft account that owns the subscription.

    1. Test Copilot on the web

Sign in to https://copilot.microsoft.com/ using that same personal Microsoft account and check whether you receive the same “current plan” message.

    Looking forward to your update.
