Xbox 360; gamer tag passcode lost

I have an Xbox 360 that I am trying to get up and running again, I have a gamer tag with a 4 number passcode that I have forgotten. Unfortunately I have also forgotten the security question. Trying to engage with support is just an AI that loops and doesnt answer the question. Is there a way to reset the passcode?, cant seem to find anything online or on the Xbox itself; family passcode also seems to elude me (I think we did something really smart when the kids were younger to stop them guessing!)
