Hi, @Anthony McClellan

To help narrow down the issue:

What exact message or error do you see when you try to open or activate the documents on the affected computer?

Which Office app is affected, such as Word or Excel?

I am trying to access word and powerpoint documents I've created over several years. When I click "activate" on the powerpoint document, I am directed to sign in when I do it shows my email address, when I click on sign in I get a blank screen. I've also tried to go in through the web site under Microsoft 365 for Mac- support for individuals, I receive a message "The request is denied". Again that applies to only one of my two Mac computers. I have no difficulty working on the documents on the new computer, unfortunately all of my documents are stored on the older machine.

Since Office works on your newer Mac, I’d first like to confirm what license you have.

Is this a Microsoft 365 Personal/Family subscription, or a one-time purchase such as Office Home & Student, Office Home & Business, Office 2021, or Office 2024?

When you sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services, what Office or Microsoft 365 product is listed there?

What macOS version is installed on the older Mac?

Thanks!
