Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

To be able to assist you better, please clarify the following:

Does your headset have 2 jack connectors (P2, two black or white lines), a single jack connector (P3, three black or white lines), a USB connector, or is it connected via Bluetooth?

Also, please share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    Looking forward to your reply.

Try these Windows 10 checks in order:

    1. Make sure the headset is connected correctly.
      • If the headset has a Mute button, make sure it is not turned on.
    2. Set the headset mic as the default input device.
      • Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound.
      • Under Input, make sure the headset microphone is selected in Choose your input device.
      • Speak into the mic and check Test your microphone to confirm Windows is receiving input.
    3. Check microphone privacy permissions.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
      • Turn on Allow apps to access your microphone.
      • Make sure Allow desktop apps to access your microphone is also On.
      • If the issue is in a specific app, make sure that app is allowed to use the microphone.
    4. Run the Recording Audio troubleshooter.
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
      • Select Recording Audio and run it.
    5. If the microphone still is not detected, reinstall the audio drivers.
      • Right-click Start > Device Manager.
      • Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
      • Right-click the audio device and select Uninstall device.
      • If shown, select Delete the driver software for this device or Attempt to remove the driver for this device, then uninstall.
      • Restart the PC.
      • After restart, Windows should reinstall the driver automatically. If not, open Device Manager, right-click Sound, video and game controllers, and select Scan for hardware changes.
      • Then right-click the audio driver and select Update driver.
    6. If the microphone is detected but very quiet:
      • Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound.
      • Under Input, select the microphone and open Device Properties.
      • On the Levels tab, increase Microphone and Microphone Boost.
