A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data
Dear Chaturvedi, Santosh,
I hope you’re having a good day.
Power Query can load the result to an existing worksheet location by using:
Home > Close & Load To... > Existing Worksheet
However, Power Query cannot load a multi-column table into a single existing cell without expanding into the required rows and columns. A query result is always loaded as a table or data range and will use as many columns as the query returns.
If your goal is to avoid creating additional columns, you would first need to transform the data in Power Query (for example, merge multiple columns into a single column) before loading it back to the worksheet.
Could you provide a small example of your source data and the desired output? That would help determine the best approach.
Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
Looking forward to hearing back from you with any updates or additional details.
Warm regards,
