I am unable to connect my phone to my printer without any USB cable. I have connected the same phone to the wifi and the printer, but it is still not showing the printer device name

    Hi,

What is the model of your Canon printer? Please check if it is connected to the PC.

    Thanks.

    Hi Maha,

You don't need a USB cable if your Canon printer supports Wi-Fi. I would try this:

Turn on the printer and make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on the printer.

Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.

Install Canon PRINT from the Play Store/App Store. Canon recommends this app for connecting and printing from a phone.

Open Canon PRINT → Register/Add Printer and allow the required permissions.

Select your printer when it appears and complete the setup.

If the printer is still not showing:

Go to the phone's Wi-Fi settings and check whether a network such as DIRECT-... or Canon_ij_... appears. Some Canon models support Wireless Direct, which allows the phone to connect directly to the printer without a router.

If it still doesn't appear, please provide the exact Canon printer model (for example, PIXMA G3010, TS3520, etc.). The Wi-Fi setup steps vary by model.

    Thanks
