The recovery email address for my Microsoft account is incorrect (a letter is missing in the domain) and therefore I cannot get the code to access my Microsoft account. I cannot recall all the details for this Microsoft account, so I have not been successful in the recovery account questionnaire. This issue is preventing me from getting my BitLocker recovery key.

    Hi, @Kisha

Even Microsoft Support does not have access to your Microsoft account and cannot change the recovery email, bypass the account verification, or retrieve/recreate a lost BitLocker recovery key. Microsoft confirms this here: https://support.microsoft.com/windows/security/encryption/find-your-bitlocker-recovery-key

If you cannot pass the Microsoft account recovery process, please check whether you have another backup of the BitLocker recovery key.

    1. Did you ever print the 48-digit BitLocker recovery key or save it to a USB drive or text file?
    2. Could the key have been saved under another Microsoft account that was previously used on this PC?
    3. Was this PC ever connected to a work or school account? If so, the key may have been stored with that organization.

Microsoft lists those as possible locations for a BitLocker recovery key.

    Thanks!
