Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Hi Bret,
Based on what you've shared, it appears that your Azure account has been in use for quite some time and may no longer qualify for a new free trial subscription.
As an alternative, you may want to create a new Azure Free Trial account if the services you need are offered as part of a time-limited trial. If your current tenant is being used only for testing or learning purposes, starting with a new trial tenant may be more straightforward than troubleshooting eligibility restrictions on the existing one.
After creating the Azure trial account, sign in to the Azure portal and use the search bar to look for Subscriptions. From there, verify that the trial subscription is listed and that its status shows Active before proceeding with any setup or testing.
Additionally, go to Microsoft Entra with the account you used to create the Azure account.
- In the left menu, select Identity > Overview.
- Look for:
- Tenant name
- Tenant ID
- Primary domain (for example:
contoso.onmicrosoft.com)
For reference: How to find your tenant ID - Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Learn
Please note that the Tenant ID and primary domain name are important details to keep available if you need to contact Microsoft Support. These identifiers are commonly used to locate and verify your tenant, helping ensure your support request is routed to the appropriate team for assistance.
