Looks like the incompatible driver is creating the issue. Do you any incompatible driver listed on Memory integrity page?
MEMORY INTEGRITY IS OFF ISSUE ON MY LAPTOP WITH W11
getting a warning in Windows 11 that "memory integrity is off" and it may make my PC vulneable. It suggests incompatible drivers might be the problem after I click "ON" but says to scan again and nothing happens. Already UPDATED, still the error message.

Welcome to the Microsoft Windows Community.
Good evening. Please ensure all your computer's drivers are up to date, then follow the steps below. Before proceeding, it is mandatory to back up the Registry:
- Select Start, type regedit.exe in the search box, and press Enter. If prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
In Registry Editor, locate and click the registry key or subkey you want to back up.
Select Export.
In the Export Registry File dialog box, select the location where you want to save the backup copy and type a name for the backup file in the File name field.
- Select Save.
Now, follow the steps to change the record.
1. Press and hold the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box, then type
regeditto open the Registry Editor.2. In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following path:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
3. Locate the two key values on the right side > Change the values of the
RunAsPPLandRunAsPPLBootkeys within Lsa to2, then restart your computer for the changes to take effect.4. Note: If the
RunAsPPLBootorRunAsPPLkey values do not exist, you will need to create them manually: right-click in the blank area, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, name itRunAsPPLBoot, and set its value to2.Press the F5 key to refresh or restart the device to check if the memory integrity issue has been resolved.

2026-09-30T19:23:34.6433333+00:00 Hi,
If possible, please take a screenshot of the screen when you try to enable Core Isolation.
Does it show an incompatible driver error?
Open msinfo32.exe via the search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here.
Thanks.

2026-09-30T18:48:58.4166667+00:00 If Windows 11 shows Memory integrity is off and turning it on does nothing, the usual cause is an incompatible driver.
Try this in order:
- Open Windows Security.
- Go to Device security.
- Under Core isolation, select Core isolation details.
- Turn Memory integrity On.
If it switches back off or shows a driver problem:
- Check Windows Update for updated drivers.
- Check the device manufacturer for a newer compatible driver.
- If no updated driver is available, remove the device or app that uses that incompatible driver.
Important points:
- Memory integrity is also called Hypervisor-protected Code Integrity (HVCI).
- It requires hardware virtualization to be enabled in the system UEFI/BIOS.
- On Windows 11 22H2 and later, Windows Security can show a warning when memory integrity is off.
If a specific driver cannot load and the device is needed, Windows provides a workaround:
- Open Windows Security > Device security > Core isolation details.
- Turn Memory integrity Off.
- Restart the PC.
Warning: turning off Memory integrity reduces protection. On a Secured-core PC, it also takes the device out of a Secured-core state.
If the scan shows no details for the incompatible driver, only the driver name and company name shown in the notification are considered reliable. In that case, the next step is still to update or remove the related device/app from its manufacturer.
If Memory integrity still cannot be enabled after updating or removing incompatible drivers, an in-place upgrade can refresh Windows files without removing files or apps. Back up important data first before making large system changes.
