How do I adjust the volume of my teams video conference tv? The T.V was completely mute, but there is no remote to it. It's not connected to an external device, it is a teams vc screen. I have tried going into the audio settings on the tablet attached to the screen, but there was no volume setting.

    Hi,

Please notify me if I have misunderstood anything about your situation.

Based on what you shared, I suspect this is more likely a dedicated Microsoft Teams Rooms system. The touchscreen console should normally control the room’s audio, but the exact controls depend on the room system configuration.

Therefore, I suggest trying these steps:

1/ Start a meeting, since some systems show volume controls only while a meeting or media session is active

    • Tap the touchscreen to make the meeting controls appear.
    • Look for a speaker/volume icon or physical Volume+ or Volume- buttons on the side of the touchscreen console.

2/ Check the console’s More menu

    • From the Teams Rooms home screen, look for a More or three dots icon.
    • Look for Volume, Room controls, or Device settings if available.
    • Also, check for a mute symbol or red indicator on the display to ensure that the display isn't muted itself

    3/ Restart the room system

    • End the meeting first.
    • On the console, check More > Restart device

If there is still no volume control, the best next step is to contact your company's IT department and ask for help. Administrators can review and change supported device settings through the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal or the Teams admin center. You can ask your administrator to check whether:

    • The room speaker is selected as the audio output
    • The speaker, soundbar, or display is muted at hardware level
    • The room’s default audio volume is set to zero
    • The device has lost communication with its audio peripheral
    • Volume control has been locked in the manufacturer’s configuration

In case you do not know who your IT admin is, kindly refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

Hope this will help. Should you have any other questions, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post. I'm happy to assist you further.
