Mouse won't stop moving around in shiftlock/when holding right click on certain games

I have been having trouble with the cursor on certain games, specifically those with a shiftlock function. The cursor will not cease movement even with the function enabled. It will move around the screen even as the camera remains 'shiftlocked', but it can still click on things. (And, at times, it has even caused me to close my game mid-action.)

This bug has been happening to me on:

Roblox

People Playground

As well as other games.

I have not yet found a fix for this, and am unaware if one even exists. Please help!

    Hi, @glumbus

Since this happens in several games, please try an affected game in both full-screen and windowed mode. In Roblox, also turn "Shift Lock Switch" off and back on in the in-game "Settings."

Please double-check whether another controller is connected, including through Bluetooth. If you find one, disconnect it temporarily and test the game again.

If the issue still persists, to help narrow down the issue:

    1. Does the cursor move when the mouse is completely still, or only when you move the mouse?
    2. Can the cursor reach the taskbar or another monitor while the camera is locked?
    3. Are you using one monitor or more than one?

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Thanks!
