How to change language in my Windows 11Pro

I just bought new laptop in South Korea with licenced Windows 11 Pro. After I competed all basic setting and downloaded all updates I wanted to change language to my native language, which is Ukrainian. Unfortunately, after many hours of trials I still was not able to switch the language of Windows to Ukrainian. I tried all methods mentioned in guidelines, but it never worked. Again, this is not Windows 11 Single language, so it is supposed to change. For now, half of the options are in Ukrainian while the rest (including language of settings etc) are in Korean. What do I do to change the language of the computer completely to Ukrainian. Looking forward to your reply!

    Hi,

Since it isn't a Single Language edition, you can try changing the display language through PowerShell and see if it fixes the problem. You can follow the steps provided in the link below

Since Windows 11 Pro supports multiple display languages, the most direct fix is to reinstall the Ukrainian language pack, set it as the Windows display language, sign out, and then correct the preferred language order.

    1. Check the Windows edition first:
      • Go to Start > Settings > System > About.
      • Under Windows specifications, confirm it is Windows 11 Pro and not Windows 11 Home Single Language.
    2. Reinstall Ukrainian if needed:
      • Go to Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region.
      • Under Preferred languages, select Add a language.
      • Search for Ukrainian, select it, then select Next.
      • In Install language features, select the language features needed, then select Install.
    3. Set Ukrainian as the full Windows display language:
      • In Settings > Time & language > Language & region.
      • Under Language, open the Windows display language drop-down.
      • Select Ukrainian.
      • When prompted, select Sign out.
      • Sign back in. This applies the new Windows display language to the interface, including Settings and File Explorer.
    4. Fix Microsoft Store apps and website language separately if parts still appear in Korean:
      • In Language & region, under Preferred languages, move Ukrainian to the top of the list.
      • This controls the language used by Microsoft Store apps and websites independently of the Windows display language.
    5. If the sign-in screen or password entry becomes difficult after the language change:
      • Use the input language icon on the sign-in screen to switch keyboard layout.
      • The keyboard layout can change when the Windows display language changes.
      • Use the password reveal icon if needed to verify the password is being typed correctly.
    6. If Windows still shows a mixed Korean/Ukrainian interface after doing the above:
      • This can happen after language changes or upgrades.
      • Remove the unwanted language from Preferred languages, restart, then add it again only if needed later.
      • Make sure Ukrainian remains both the Windows display language and the top entry in Preferred languages.

    Important:

    • Save work and close apps before changing the display language because Windows signs out to apply it.
    • Some languages are not fully localized. In that case, some Windows elements can still appear in the first fully localized language in Preferred languages.
