I will walk through a few steps with you. Some of these are just to help figure out what is wrong, not to fix it right away. So if nothing changes after a step, that is normal. I will keep going until we solve it.
Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
Right-click your audio device/driver (for example, Realtek Audio) and select Properties.
Open the Driver tab.
Click Roll Back Driver.
Select a reason for rolling back and click Yes.
Restart the PC and check whether the audio issue is resolved.
