Since changing the region and restarting Microsoft Store Install Service already did not help, use this path next:
- Reset the Microsoft Store cache
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
- A blank Command Prompt window opens, then closes after about 10 seconds, and Microsoft Store opens automatically.
- Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter
- Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.
- Make sure Windows is fully updated
- Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Select Check for updates.
- If updates are available, install them and restart the PC.
- Update Microsoft Store itself
- Open Microsoft Store.
- Select See more > Downloads and updates > Get updates.
- Let any Store update finish.
- Sign out and sign back in to Microsoft Store
- This is a recommended step in similar Store install failures and is relevant here because the purchase and pre-install are tied to the Microsoft account.
- Check common causes if the game still will not install
- The app may not be available in the current country or region.
- The app may no longer be available.
- The app may not actually be compatible with the device, even if it appears in Store.
- The PC may need a restart after recent Windows updates.
- The PC may not be authorized to use Microsoft Store apps; sign in with the Microsoft account used for the purchase.
- If the issue continues, contact Microsoft Support
- Use Contact Support from Microsoft support to route the case to the correct support option.
