    Hi Laura Shamess,

Thanks for sharing the details. Since the games worked before KB5124010 and started working again after you removed it, the timing suggests the preview update may be involved. However, there isn’t currently a public announcement confirming this as a wider known issue.

Could you let me know which games are affected and exactly what happens when you try to launch them? Do you receive an error message or code? It would also help to know whether all Store games are affected or only certain titles, and whether games installed through other launchers still work normally. These details can help distinguish a game-specific compatibility problem from an issue affecting Store or gaming components more broadly.

Since KB5124010 is a preview update, it’s reasonable to leave it uninstalled for now if that restored the games. You can also open Store > Library > Get updates and install any available updates for the Store, Xbox app, Gaming Services and the affected games.

Please also report the behavior through Feedback Hub by pressing Windows key + F. Include the affected game names, any error codes, and note that the games worked again after KB5124010 was removed.

Let me know what you find and I’ll help narrow down the next step.
