I have Widows10 Laptop,Excel 2016 and Word 2016 does not work

Since Word 2016 and Excel 2016 seem to have disappeared unexpectedly, it would be helpful to first confirm whether Office is still installed on the device or if only the shortcuts are missing.

Please check the following:

1. Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl and press Enter.
2. Look for Microsoft Office 2016 in the list of installed programs.
3. If Office is listed, let us know whether you can launch Word or Excel directly from:
   • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16
   • or C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16
4. If Office is not listed, please let us know whether any recent changes were made to the PC, such as a cleanup utility, antivirus action, system restore, or Windows update.

This information will help determine whether the Office installation has been removed or if the application shortcuts are simply no longer available.

If Office was removed entirely, Microsoft says to download and reinstall the purchased Office product.
