To stop the repeated notifications, turn off the notification source that is generating them.
- In Windows, open Start > Settings > System > Notifications.
- Turn Notifications Off to stop all notifications, or find the specific app under Notifications from apps and other senders and turn that app Off.
- If the notifications are appearing in Microsoft Edge from a website, open Edge > Settings and more > Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Site permissions > All sites.
- Select the website, find Notifications, and set it to Block.
- If the notifications are from Outlook.com, go to Settings > General > Notifications and turn the Mail or Calendar toggle Off.
- If the notifications are from Microsoft Authenticator, check whether the phone is in Do Not Disturb or Quiet mode, and verify the app’s notification settings on the phone.
If these are Microsoft account security prompts related to sign-in or recovery, support agents cannot change account details or send password reset links. If the prompts continue and the source is not clear, use the Sign-in helper or Contact Microsoft Support.
