    Hi kris aleman,

Have you had a chance to try the AI Answer guidance suggested and did any of it help?

You also mentioned an organization policy. Could you share the exact message and where it appears? Please confirm whether this is your personal PC or one managed by a workplace or school. If it is managed, the organization’s IT administrator may need to review the relevant device restrictions.

If it is a personal PC, check Settings > Accounts > Access work or school and let me know whether an organization account is connected. Please don’t disconnect an account that is still in use.

As an additional test, try the affected Bluetooth device with another phone or computer, then try a different Bluetooth device with this PC. This should help confirm whether the issue follows the accessory or remains with the computer.

Please let me know the exact policy message and the results of those two tests.

This is usually caused by power-saving settings, a Bluetooth service issue, or an outdated/incompatible Bluetooth driver rather than an organization policy.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Turn off Energy Saver / Battery saver
      • Select the Battery icon on the taskbar.
      • If Energy Saver is on, turn it off.
      • This can interfere with Bluetooth connectivity.
    2. Disable Bluetooth power saving in Device Manager
      • Select Start, type Device Manager, and open it.
      • Expand Bluetooth.
      • Right-click the Bluetooth device.
      • Open Power Management.
      • Clear Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
    3. Restart the Bluetooth Support Service
      • Press Windows key + R.
      • Type services.msc and select OK.
      • Find Bluetooth Support Service.
      • Right-click it and select Restart.
    4. Make sure Airplane mode is off
      • Press Windows + A to open quick settings.
      • Confirm Airplane mode is turned off.
    5. Update the Bluetooth driver
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Expand Bluetooth.
      • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter.
      • Select Update driver > Search automatically for updated driver software.
      • Restart if prompted.
    6. Install the latest driver from the PC manufacturer if Windows does not find one
      • An outdated or incompatible driver is a common cause of Bluetooth disconnects.
      • Download the latest Bluetooth driver for the exact PC model from the manufacturer’s support site.
      • Install it, then restart the PC.
    7. Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter
      • In Windows 11: Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Bluetooth > Run.
      • On supported systems, the Get Help Bluetooth troubleshooter can also run diagnostics automatically: Run the troubleshooter in Get Help
    8. If Bluetooth seems to disappear entirely, do a full shutdown
      • Hold Shift.
      • Select Start > Power > Shut down.
      • Wait 1 minute.
      • Turn the PC back on.
      • Use Shut down, not Restart, so the Bluetooth hardware fully powers off and back on.
    9. If the adapter still disappears, uninstall and let Windows reinstall it
      • In Device Manager, expand Bluetooth.
      • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.
      • Then select Start > Power > Shut down.
      • Turn the PC back on and let Windows try to reinstall the driver.
      • If it does not reinstall automatically, open Device Manager and select Action > Scan for hardware changes.
      • Note: uninstalling the adapter temporarily removes Bluetooth until Windows reinstalls the driver.

If the Bluetooth toggle or icon keeps disappearing after these steps, Microsoft recommends contacting the PC manufacturer because Bluetooth hardware errors are often related to the manufacturer’s driver or firmware.
