problem when trying to make new outlook email

Hi, could you clarify what you mean by “make new Outlook email”? Are you trying to create a new @outlook.com address, add an existing account to Outlook for Android, or compose a new message?

If you’re creating a new @outlook.com address, please try opening outlook.com in your phone’s browser and selecting Create free account. Let me know whether the same message appears there or only in the Outlook app. Microsoft’s account creation guide also covers this option.

Please share the exact wording of the “blocked activities” message and the step where it appears. You can attach a screenshot, but hide your email address, phone number, and any verification codes. That will help us identify which process is being blocked.

If you are asking about creating a new outlook.com email account.

This is an ongoing problem for many people.

If all else fails, get a trusted friend or relative in another location to try and do the create for you. Make sure they put an "Email a code" 2nd verification on the account. You'll need it when you try to logon for the first time from a different location.
