Hello @Kishore R
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q & A!
The error "Invalid ThreadId" indicates that the Teams connector cannot locate a valid chat or channel conversation for the adaptive card update operation.
Since the card was originally posted by the Flow Bot in a Chat with bot conversation, the message may not belong to a chat thread that is supported by the "Update an adaptive card in a chat or channel" action. Although the Message ID is being passed correctly, the underlying conversation (Thread ID) used by the update action may not be valid for cards posted in a personal Flow Bot chat.
Please verify:
- The adaptive card was created using a Teams action that supports subsequent updates.
- The Message ID being passed is the ID returned by the original card posting action.
- Verify whether the card was posted in a personal Flow Bot conversation, as some posting contexts may not provide a thread ID that can be used by the update action.
- The update action is targeting the same chat or channel where the card was originally posted.
If possible, test the same scenario by posting the adaptive card to a Teams channel or group chat and then updating it using the returned Message ID. If that succeeds, the issue is likely related to the Flow Bot personal chat context rather than the card content itself.
If you can share which action was used to originally post the adaptive card, we can help determine whether that posting method supports updates.
