How to fix not getting builder cape after redeeming?

I still haven't gotten my builder cape and it has been 21 hours. Does anyone know how to make it show up? I've redeemed it

Same, I’m on bedrock on ps5 and it’s been a few days and the builders cape plus the Tubbo skin pack I redeemed isn’t showing up. I followed the links and everything on Microsoft and Minecraft says it’s complete but nothing is in the dressing room.

Hello Dark Void,

Thanks for reaching out. For me to understand the situation completely and help you best, could you share a bit more details?

Which edition is it missing in — Java, Bedrock, or both?
If Bedrock: have you checked the Dressing Room (Profile > Dressing Room > Capes)? Promo capes usually land there first.
If Java: have you opened the skin editor in the launcher and looked under the cape picker for the skin you're using? On Java these capes usually need to be manually selected before they show up in-game — they don't auto-equip.
Roughly when did you redeem? There can be a sync delay of up to ~24h before the cape becomes selectable, so at 21h you might still be right inside that window.

Once I know which edition and whether it's showing in the picker, I can point you to the right next step.

I have the same problem here, I got the code from Tiktok and I redeemed it and the web told me it worked. The thing is that i did it 2 days ago and i'm still waiting.

also did not get my cape in Java, not online and not in the client.

Claimed the same day from Twitch using a code that i got from watching stream. But still nothing!

even got confirmation mail that it completed..

What can i do next?

Hello everyone,

I'm seeing a lot of posts about redeemed Minecraft capes not appearing in-game.

If your situation matches the common case — you redeemed a promotional cape (Home Cape, Builder Cape, etc.) on the Minecraft site, it's confirmed on your account, but it's not showing up in Minecraft: Java Edition — then this is actually expected behavior. Promotional capes land in Bedrock's Dressing Room first, and you have to manually select the cape in Java's skin editor for it to appear there.

Reference: Activate Promotional Capes and Character Creator Items on Your Minecraft: Java Edition Profile

Try this:

Open Minecraft: Bedrock Edition > go to the Dressing Room and confirm the cape is there
Exit Bedrock, then open Minecraft: Java Edition
Go to Skins > highlight your current skin
Select … > Edit > pick the cape > Save & Use
Close and restart Java Edition

It should render in-game after the restart. If it doesn't show up right after redemption, there's sometimes a short sync delay (community reports up to ~24h) before the cape becomes selectable in Java's editor.

If it's still missing after that, cape/skin sync issues are handled by Mojang's team, so Minecraft Support would be the right next stop.

It worked, but only after I equipped it on bedrock. when I just went to the dressing room without equipping it, it wouldn't work.

I followed the steps in Thomas4-N's answer, and while it was available in bedrock, it's still not available in Java Edition for me. Edit: it took a couple day, but is available in java edition for me now

Will it be available in the web to select it for java as well, just maybe later? I don't have a device that supports running bedrock currently and play only java.

I also have the issue where I have the cape on Bedrock and I have put in on in Bedrock but have been waiting three days for it to appear in my selection of capes in Java so i can put it on. Ive tried your recommendations but they dont work
