One of the spotlight photos that comes up on my lock screen regularly is a beautiful lake / cabin scene from the Canadian Rockies. However it is incorrectly attributed to Jasper National Park when in fact the photo was taken of the Emerald Lake Lodge in Yoho National Park. What is the process to get this changed?

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this. You can’t directly request edits to Windows Spotlight photo titles.

The content is curated by Microsoft, so the only way to report incorrect info is through feedback.

    Here are your options:

    • On the lock screen, click “Like what you see?”
    • Then choose to send feedback about the image

Or use the Feedback Hub app

    • Go to Report a problem. Use the category > Desktop Environment > Lock screen
    • Add the correct details (Emerald Lake Lodge, Yoho National Park)

That’s the official route. Updates depend on Microsoft reviewing the report.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
