    Hi John Stewart,

Good day. I'm Jhun an independent advisor. In regards with your query, let's check first your Excel if it supports PDF import.

The "Get Data" > from PDF is available only in:

    1. Excel Microsoft 365.
    2. Excel 2019, 2021, 2024.

If your Excel supports import PDF, the exact path is:

    1. Data > Get Data > From File > From PDF.

Other Options if it doesn't supported by your Excel.

    A. Use a third party PDF to Excel apps like (removed by Moderator) etc. You can also do conversions with free online PDF to Excel converters. You can easily search for it.

    B. Use Word to copy then paste to Excel.

    1. Right-click the PDF.
    2. Open with Microsoft Word.
    3. Word converts it to text.
    4. Copy the table.
    5. Paste into Excel.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Jhun

To import a PDF file into Excel, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open Excel and go to the Data tab.
    2. Click on Get Data.
    3. Select From File and then choose From PDF. If you do not see the option for PDF, ensure that you have the latest version of Excel, as this feature may not be available in older versions.
    4. In the dialog box that appears, provide the file path or the URL to the PDF file you want to import.
    5. Select the data you want to import from the PDF and then click Load or Transform Data to make any necessary adjustments in Power Query.

If you are using Power Query, you can also access the PDF file by selecting the PDF option in the connector selection, as described in the documentation.

Make sure that your version of Excel supports importing from PDF files, as this feature is available in certain versions of Excel and may not be present in all installations.
