The AI's answer above solves the problem quite radically: if Remove Notifications and Action Center is enabled, the Calendar disappears as well.

    Hi Elena,

The Calendar is part of the Notification area.

You have to click the arrow by the time

    to open it.

To completely get rid of the notification box in Windows 11, you can disable the Notification Center. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Open the Group Policy Editor (if you have Windows 11 Pro or Enterprise): Press Windows + R, type gpedit.msc, and hit Enter.
    2. Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar.
    3. Look for the setting called Remove Notifications and Action Center. Set this to Enabled.
    4. If you are using Windows 11 Home, you can use the Registry Editor:
      • Press Windows + R, type regedit, and hit Enter.
      • Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer.
      • Right-click in the right pane, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it DisableNotificationCenter. Set its value to 1.
    5. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

By following these steps, you should be able to remove the notification box completely.
