If you have reset Windows and your files are now missing, did you choose the option to keep your files?

    2

Open File Explorer, then go to the C drive.

Is there a folder named Windows.Old on the C drive?

If there is, go into that folder, there is a Users folder in there, open it.

Then go into your user folder in there to check if your files are available in there.

if they are, move them out of there as soon as possible, because that folder will be deleted automatically.

Otherwise, log into OneDrive (https://onedrive.live.com/) in a web browser, are you able to find your files synced there?

If you have reset your laptop and lost access to your personal photos, recovering them may depend on a few factors:

    1. Backup Solutions: Check if you had any backup solutions enabled, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, or any other cloud storage services. If you had backups, you might be able to restore your photos from there.
    2. File Recovery Software: If your photos were stored locally and you did not overwrite the data, you might be able to use file recovery software to attempt to recover deleted files. There are various tools available that can help with this, but success is not guaranteed.
    3. Professional Data Recovery Services: If the photos are critical and you cannot recover them using software, consider reaching out to a professional data recovery service. They may have more advanced tools and techniques to recover lost data.

Unfortunately, if the reset was a complete wipe of the system and there were no backups, it may be difficult to recover the lost photos. Always ensure to back up important data regularly to avoid such situations in the future.
