Refund Request – MOV to MP4 Converter Purchased via Microsoft Store

Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I would like to request a full refund for the MOV to MP4 Converter application purchased through the Microsoft Store.

Unfortunately, the application did not work as expected and failed to meet the purpose for which I purchased it.

Specifically, the converted MP4 files could not be imported into MAXQDA 27, a widely used software program for academic research and qualitative data analysis. However, MP4 files converted from the same original MOV videos using other free conversion tools were successfully imported into MAXQDA 27 without any issues.

I also contacted the application's developer, WeConvert Support, who offered to investigate the compatibility issue and requested a sample video. However, the recordings contain personal and sensitive data collected for academic research purposes. For reasons of data protection and confidentiality, I cannot share these recordings or undertake additional video editing solely for troubleshooting.

Since the application did not fulfill its intended purpose and I have already found a working alternative, I would appreciate a full refund of my purchase.

    Since the application was purchased through the Microsoft Store, please sign in with the same Microsoft account used for the purchase and check your Microsoft account order history to see whether a refund or return option is available for the order.

    If no refund option appears, please contact Microsoft Support and ask the support agent to review the purchase. You can explain that the converted files are incompatible with MAXQDA 27, while files created from the same source videos using other converters work correctly.
