Hello,
I am unable to send any emails from my Outlook.com account.
My account is: ******@hotmail.com
Every outgoing message is rejected, even when I send a very simple test message from Outlook.com Web to my own email address.
The test message contained only:
Subject: test Body: test
There were no attachments, links, images, signature, CC or BCC.
The message is rejected with the following error:
550 5.7.520 Message blocked because it contains content identified as spam. AS(4810)
The same error occurs when sending from Outlook.com Web, so this is not an Apple Mail or email-client issue.
The problem occurs with all recipients, including my own Outlook.com address.
Please review my account for an incorrect outbound spam restriction or false positive and remove the restriction if appropriate.
I have not intentionally sent spam or bulk unsolicited email.
Thank you.

Hello,
I've seen a surge in reports from other users experiencing the same issue on the forum over the last several days. Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn't publicly acknowledged the problem.
I'm curious if changing the email format would make a difference. Could you try switching from HTML to Plain Text or Rich Text using the instructions below and see if the email goes through? (Note, even if you just type a single word in the email body, if the setting is in HTML, it can still introduce invisible tags/codes behind the scene).
If the issue persists, please report it directly to Microsoft so the engineering team can investigate.
In Outlook.com, go to Help > Feedback > Report a problem.
Provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots or a screen recording if available.
I also recommend selecting Yes when asked whether you'd like to share diagnostic logs. These logs can help Microsoft's engineering team identify what's causing the problem.
