  1. Primary Issue: Admin Account Lockout

• Problem: I am locked out of my Administrator account.

• Details: It is a local account. When I click "Forgot Password," I get the error: "There is no disk drive"

• Current Status: I can only access a Standard User account. Because I don't have Admin rights, I cannot install software (like audio equalizers) or finish system repairs.

• Goal: I need to reset the Admin password without wiping my files if possible.

    Hello,

Is it because you forgot the password? Since you are using local user to sign in, you will need to answer the security questions if they have ever been set up, or use a password recovery USB if you have made one prior to this.

Otherwise, there's no other way around this. It works as expected. Any attempt to bypass this is considered potential hacking and it can get anyone banned here in the forum.

I am sorry, but you do need to backup your files using the standard user, and perform a clean install Windows in that case.
