Problem on Microsoft Word - grey non-transparent frame and i can’t see the text i have selected - Mojave

Hi,

I have a problem with Microsoft Word.. i can’t see the selected text.. this problem appears only in microsoft word.. I have imac and mojave 14.4..

In other apps, when i want to select, is used the highlighting color from general preferences..

But in microsoft word is appeared a grey non-transparent frame and i can’t see the text i have selected..as you see in photo..

Can anyone help me to fix this?

I would really appreciate this..

As a last resort, have you tried uninstalling Office and reinstalling?

Yes this problem exists and in safemode..

Can you run Word in Safemode to see if the issue continues.

To do this, please press and hold the shift key when opening word.

If this does not work please press and hold the function key when opening word.
