passwords don't work on the Windows sign-in screen.

I'm trying to get the safe mode on msi laptop because passwords don't work on the Windows sign-in screen. I followed the FROM SIGN-IN SCREEN orders but neither 4 F4 nor 5 F5 worked as they both get me back to troubleshooting! What does that mean, is there any other option for me?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If you are blocked by a password in the Recovery Environment, then, you will need to create a bootable Windows 10 USB on another working PC and boot your PC from that, then rather than installing Windows 10, select ‘Repair this Computer’ that will give you access to the Recovery Environment from there

In the Recovery Environment on the USB, you will not be blocked by a password.
