Hello,

my pay-as-you-go subscription and the whole Microsoft Customer Agreement billing account (created in September 2026) were disabled on 23 October 2026 with the notice "suspicious activity that violates the Microsoft Acceptable Use Policy". The portal announces permanent deletion on 24 November 2026.

I opened support case 2610260050004799 (Subscription management → could not reactivate by self-service) on 27 October. Within hours I received the template "Sorry we were unable to verify your account information … your account will stay closed". I replied by e-mail, asked which information could not be verified and offered to verify immediately by phone call or documents (ID, card statement, business registration). The second answer was the same template ("… your purchase won't be completed"). No request for verification has ever reached me (inbox and spam folder checked), "New message" is disabled on the case, and the amount due is EUR 0.00.

Facts for a review: I am a sole proprietor in Germany. The only workload is one Azure AI Foundry resource with one model deployment, used by my own bookkeeping software from my own computer to read my own invoices, in bursts of up to about 800 requests per day; total spend under EUR 200. No VMs, no quota requests, no third-party access. Billing name, address, phone number and cardholder data are identical, and the card is a regular card issued in Germany. Meanwhile, the Foundry quota system e-mailed me on 28 October that the same subscription is eligible for an automatic quota tier upgrade "based on recent usage and account standing".

Could a Microsoft moderator please have the case looked at by a person in the account review / security team and tell me what I need to verify and how? I am happy to share the subscription ID and the billing account ID privately.

Thank you. Benjamin
