25 days, no acknowledgment: German geographic phone number application via [email protected] (Azure Communication Services)

We are an implementation partner and applied for German geographic (local) phone numbers for a customer's Azure Communication Services resource via the documented process (email to [email protected]): first submission on 2026-07-23, a follow-up since, and a resubmission on 2026-08-17 including the completed and signed ACS-Manual-Number-Acquisition-Form-for-Germany.docx (LoA) and an address proof document.

In 25 days we have received no response whatsoever — not even an acknowledgment of receipt.

The target subscription is Pay-As-You-Go with a German billing address, i.e. eligible for German geographic numbers per the documentation ("Phone Number Management for Germany" on Microsoft Learn).

Question to Microsoft engineers: How do we obtain

1. confirmation that the application was received and is being processed,
2. a case/reference number for tracking, and
3. a concrete timeline?

The customer's production go-live is blocked solely by this pending application.

We will gladly share the subscription ID, resource ID, and the submitted documents through a private/secure channel — please engage directly.

Please do not simply refer us back to the [email protected] mailbox; that channel has been unresponsive for 25 days.
