- Close all of the Office apps on your Mac.
- Then, open Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU) from Finder > Applications > Microsoft AutoUpdate.
If the MAU app is missing, go to /Library/Application Support/Microsoft/MAU2.0/
If you have any updates to install, select "Update All" or click 'Update' to update individual apps. Once the update is complete, launch the Office applications and see whether the issue is resolved.
