This is a German-language forum; however, since you've asked your question in English, please allow me to respond in English as well.
Hi @Diego Marchetti,
Thank you for the detailed description. To help narrow down the cause, I would like to gather a bit more information about your environment and whether the behavior is related to Excel, Windows, or a specific workbook configuration.
Could you please confirm:
- Which version of Windows are you using (Windows 10 or Windows 11), and what is the OS build number?
- Which version of Microsoft Excel are you running? You can check this via File > Account > About Excel.
- Does the same behavior occur with other Office applications when multiple windows are open (for example, Word, Outlook, or PowerPoint), or is it only happening with Excel?
- Have you already checked for and installed the latest updates for both Windows and Microsoft Excel? If so, could you confirm the Windows build number and Excel version currently installed?
- If you sign in to Microsoft 365 and test Excel on a different device, does the same behavior occur there, or is it limited to this specific computer?
In the meantime please try repair Office
Right-click the Start button (lower-left corner) and select Installed apps on the pop-up menu.
Select the Microsoft 365 or Office product you want to repair, click the ellipses, and select Modify.
If you see a notification that say " allow the change on your device" click yes. Then select online repair
Thank you again for your time and understanding. I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response.
