Hallo Ela,

vielen Dank für deine Anfrage.

Der weitere Cloud-Dienst muss zuvor deaktiviert werden.

Ich freue mich auf deine Rückmeldung.

OneDrive prevents backup when the folder contains another cloud-storage location or a special link/reparse point.

If you want to continue using both iCloud Photos and OneDrive, I would not recommend trying to make both services manage the exact same Pictures folder. Instead, let iCloud manage its own iCloud Photos location and let OneDrive manage the Windows Pictures folder. You can manually copy photos between them if you want a second cloud copy.

A good approach is:

  1. Open iCloud for Windows and check the Photos/iCloud Photos configuration.
  2. If iCloud Photos is placing or linking its storage inside your Windows Pictures folder, disable that integration or move iCloud Photos out of Pictures.
  3. Check C:\Users<your name>\Pictures afterward. There should no longer be an iCloud Photos folder/link inside it.
  4. Restart OneDrive.
  5. Go to OneDrive Settings > Sync and backup > Manage backup.
  6. Turn Pictures on again.
