(EU) Content Understanding Studio is generally available, but its currently supported models create a deployment blocker for Data Zone Standard environments.

The Studio currently supports:

• GPT-5.2
• GPT-4.1
• GPT-4.1-mini

However:

• GPT-4.1 and GPT-4.1-mini can no longer be deployed for new Azure OpenAI resources.
• GPT-5.2 is currently only available as a Global Standard deployment and does not support Data Zone Standard.

This leaves no deployable model for customers that require Data Zone Standard (EU).

It is currently blocking production deployments.

We have already demonstrated and sold Content Understanding to customers for evaluation, and we are planning customer-facing deployments in the EU, including hosted SaaS offerings where Data Zone Standard is a requirement. At the moment, there is no supported model configuration that allows us to proceed.

Is support for newer Data Zone Standard-compatible models planned, or will the list of supported models in Content Understanding Studio be updated? If this is a known limitation, is there an official timeline or recommended workaround?
