Add markdown to Teams feedback

Hello @Johannes Kingma,

Thank you for sharing your question about using Markdown in assignment feedback.

At the moment, the assignment feedback feature in Microsoft Teams does not support Markdown formatting. When Markdown syntax is entered, it is displayed as plain text, which is expected behavior based on the current design of this feature. Since I may not have fully understood all of the specific formatting scenarios you’re aiming for, I wanted to keep the explanation brief and focused on what’s currently supported.

If Markdown support in assignment feedback is something you’d like to see added in the future, the best way to request this is by submitting feedback directly to the Microsoft Product Team. They actively review suggestions from users. You can share your idea here: Microsoft Teams · Community

Thank you for taking the time to ask about this. If you have any additional context to share, or if there’s anything else you’d like help with, please feel free to let me know.

Best regards,
