Is the Azure Windows Admin Center Extension supported on Domain Controllers ?

Hello,

we are currently planning to implement Windows Admin Center in a customer environment to manage Windows Server core machines. These are Azure VMs and also ARC enabled servers running on-premises. Actually we are in the design process and need to decide between running a dedicated WAC as a gateway or use the Azure Windows Admin Center extension, which needs to be deployed locally on every machine in scope.

The following article states out, that installing WAC on a domain controller is not supported:

Does this also apply to the Azure Windows Admin Center extension? I can't find any hint for this...
