Thanks for reaching out, Hansuli. Let’s work through it together.
Since the issue started right after the last Windows 10 Pro update, this could be either a corrupted app package or an update conflict.
Try these steps:
- Repair or reset the app
Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
Search for Smartphone Link or sometimes listed as Phone Link.
Select Advanced options > Repair. If that does not help, try Reset.
- Reinstall the app
Uninstall the app from Settings.
Download the latest version from the Microsoft Store: Phone Link
- Check default apps and linking
Open Settings > Phone > Link your Android device.
Reconnect your smartphone by following the prompts.
- Windows Update check
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
Make sure all cumulative and optional updates are installed, since fixes are often released quickly.
- If still not working
Run the built-in troubleshooter:
Open Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
Select Windows Store Apps and run it.
