Hello, first of all english isnt my first language and ive translated the events with google translate..
Idk if my 2070super is cooked or if NVIDIA's driver is causing an issue. (After checking my Eventviewer docs apparently the issue happend before but ive never notised it.)
Right now its happening at least twice a day if not more often. I dont get a BSOD i get blackscreens and after a couple of secounds everything works fine again. The issue happend first on the 5th of september and was accompanied with "Sound glitches" when playing deltaforce. (something wich is taxing for my rig but nothing out of the ordanary) It is happening as well when playing wow something way less taxing on my system.
What ive done so far:
1.Ive had the issue with the previous driver on September 5th the first time and updated to my current driver. -> still getting the error
2.Ive removed all drivers with DDU and reinstalled the latest version -> still getting the error.
3.Ive disabled both NVIDIA audio options in the device manager -> still getting the error
4.Checked my RAM for dmg -> everything works fine
5.Used Furmarks GPU shark to stresstest my gpu no issues at all during the tests GPU isnt shutting down due to temperature..
6.Cleaned all coolers and checked all cable connections -> still getting the error
7.Slightly underclocked my GPU with MSI afterburner: core clock -30 and memory clock -30 -> still getting the error
Edit: Changing permission on nvlddmkm.sys didnt work-> still getting the error..
What i have to test: Maybe going back to a previous driver but ive changed my nvlddmkm.sys permissions to full controll now and want to check if this solves it.
What I can't do: borrow a spare GPU to see if mine is causing the issue..
More Info on my GPU-shark test: The graphics card is handling everything fine there average of 130fps temperature in hotspots around 98 degrees and 83 overall. its drawing up to 225 wats Vram is fully used up. It is not crashing or having any issues during the test only randomly when playing and not during taxing events. IE: for wow i can enter a zone with hundreds of mops fighting or fly threw ogrimmar and everything is fine but when im in mop doing archeology blackscreen freeze for a couple of seconds.

I have as well used gpushark to monitor my gpu temp n stuff and had one "NVIDIA OpenGL Driver"-"Crash?" while running the program here is that errorcode:
A TDR has been detected.
The application must close.
Error code: 7
(pid=14596 tid=24036 gpushark_x64.exe 64bit)
Hopefully its just nvidia doing nvidia things and my grafikscard isnt cooked. Have a good one.

Hey,
try updating the BIOS version.
otherwise I would guess that it’s some other part like the power supply. Try looking in the event viewer after the screen goes black again. Maybe you can find more information there.
i hope this helps
