Eine Familie von Microsoft-Tabellenkalkulationsprogrammen mit Tools zum Analysieren, Darstellen und Vermitteln von Daten.
Hi! That’s almost always either a permissions/connection toggle on Mac, a sheet protection/format issue, or a recent Excel quirk. Try these in order:
- Go to Excel > Settings (or Preferences, depending on your version).
- Navigate to Privacy.
- Make sure Connected experiences and Optional connected experiences are turned ON.
- These settings allow Excel to access Microsoft’s online services, which are required for features like linked data types and stock/geography data.
- If the sheet is protected, certain features (like inserting data types) may be disabled.
- Go to Review > Unprotect Sheet if needed.
- Also, ensure the column you're trying to use isn’t formatted in a way that blocks data types (e.g., custom formats or merged cells).
- Sometimes toggling these settings requires a restart of Excel to take effect.
- Make sure you're running the latest version of Excel for Mac. Go to Help > Check for Updates.
