We are setting up Azure Artifact Signing for our organization (Germany, EU). The organization identity validation request is stuck and I would like to know whether the verification email can be re-sent without creating a new request.
What we did:
- Created an Artifact Signing account (West Europe).
- Assigned myself the Artifact Signing Identity Verifier role.
- Created an Organization / Public identity validation request.
- Completed the individual identity validation successfully: AU10TIX document check with a German national ID card, Face Check passed, Verified ID added to Microsoft Authenticator and presented. The browser showed "Verification Successful".
Current state:
- Portal status: In Progress, with the detail "Please complete your email verification".
- The primary email address (a shared company mailbox) received a message and that step was completed.
- The secondary email address (my personal company address on the same domain) never received anything. Our administrator ran a message trace in Exchange Online covering the last 48 hours: no delivery attempt from Microsoft to that address at all, and nothing in quarantine or spam.
- I have verified the address stored in the request character by character. It is correct and the mailbox is active and accepts external mail with links.
Questions:
- Can the verification email for the secondary address be re-sent, or the pending email verification step be reset, without deleting the request and starting over?
- If a new identity validation request is unavoidable: can the existing Verified ID in Microsoft Authenticator be re-presented, or does the AU10TIX document check have to be repeated?
I can provide the subscription ID, account name and identity validation request ID via private message.
Thanks in advance.
