Hello Andy,
Thank you for posting question on Microsoft Windows Forum!
Based on the issue description. Well! When a Snowflake resource monitor hits its credit quota, the warehouses it controls are suspended, causing your scheduled jobs to fail with an error like "Warehouse cannot be resumed because the resource monitor has exceeded its quota".
To adjust the credit limit, you can navigate to Admin > Cost Management > Resource Monitors. Click the ... (More) menu next to your monitor and select Edit. Then update the Credit Quota field and click Save.
Regarding the configuration of proactive notification triggers. The suggested approach is to update the monitor triggers to send alerts at warning thresholds (e.g., 50%, 75%, 90%) before taking suspend actions at 100% or above. Something like this ALTER RESOURCE MONITOR your_monitor_name SET TRIGGERS ON 50 PERCENT DO NOTIFY ON 75 PERCENT DO NOTIFY ON 90 PERCENT DO NOTIFY ON 100 PERCENT DO SUSPEND ON 110 PERCENT DO SUSPEND_IMMEDIATE;
Another point worth mentioning here is to ensure resource monitor email alerts are delivered to your inbox. Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner of Snowsight and select My Profile. Confirm your Email address status is verified. Toggle Notifications to On.
Please note: If your warehouse did not resume automatically after increasing the quota, you can manually restart it.
Hope the above information is helpful!
