Hello Liv T
I understand that you’re trying to find the email address of the Microsoft account linked to your Minecraft account.
For privacy and security reasons, a Minecraft username or gamertag usually cannot be used to reveal the full Microsoft account email address. If Minecraft is asking you to sign in with a previously connected Microsoft account, you will need to identify and use that same Microsoft account.
Please try the Microsoft username recovery page first: Recover your Microsoft account username. You can enter any phone number or alternate email address that may have been added as security information. If there is a match, it may show a partially hidden email hint, such as j*****@outlook.com.
For your reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/manage/forgotten-your-microsoft-account-username
You can also check places where the account may have been used before, such as:
- Old emails or receipts from Microsoft, Xbox, Minecraft, or PlayStation
- A Windows PC where the account may still be signed in under Settings > Accounts
- Xbox/Microsoft account profiles on another device
- Saved sign-in details in your browser or password manager
If you are able to identify the email but cannot access the account, then use the Microsoft sign-in helper or account recovery options. However, if you still do not know the email address, the username recovery page and checking previous sign-in locations are the best first steps.
For Minecraft on PlayStation, you generally need to sign in with the same Microsoft account that was previously linked to that PlayStation account. If the correct account cannot be recovered, you may need to contact Minecraft Support to check what options are available.
I hope this helps you locate the correct account.
