‎Viva Connections, set up to show a SharePoint site, is working in the desktop version but not on mobile

From my perspective view, the behavior you are experiencing is actually by design and is the expected functionality for the Viva Connections mobile app.

When you configure an organization's SharePoint home site as the default landing experience (typically done via the Set-SPOHomeSite -HomeSiteUrl <URL> -VivaConnectionsDefaultStart $true PowerShell cmdlet or via the M365 Admin Center), this setting only applies to the desktop and web browser experiences.

For the mobile experience, Microsoft has designed Viva Connections to be optimized for smaller screens. Because of this, the mobile app will always default to the Viva Connections Dashboard (the Cards view) rather than loading the full SharePoint site as the landing page.

However, even though it is not the default landing tab, users can still easily navigate to your configured SharePoint home page from their mobile devices:

1. Open the Viva Connections app on mobile (which lands on the Dashboard).
2. Look for the Site Icon (usually your organization's logo or a home icon) in the upper-right corner of the screen.
3. Tapping this icon will open the SharePoint home site directly within the mobile app.
